In Apprentice Choir,
we're better together.

Apprentice Choir is the Colorado Children's Chorale's Performance Program second-level training choir. Under the direction of conductor Jared Joseph (pictured above), Apprentice Choir members rehearse once a week on either Wednesdays or Thursdays at a Chorale rehearsal site. This 2023-24 season, Apprentice Choir members range from 8 to 12 years old and represent 63 different schools across the Denver metro area. This season's repertoire highlights include:

  • "Barn Dance" (Richard E. McKee)
  • "Crowded Table" (arr. Andrea Ramsey)
  • "We Gather Together" * (arr. Mary Ellen Junda & UConntabile members)
    • *Combines "The Storm Is Passing Over" (Charles Albert Tindley / arr. Barbara Baker) and "We Are the Storm" (Charles Anthony Silvestri / Jerod Impichchaachaaha’ Tate)

Mr. Joseph is excited for Apprentice Choir to perform the above pieces (and more) at the Chorale's 50 Years of Brilliance anniversary concert on April 20th and Performing Small Miracles concert on May 11th.
